ClixSense: paid-to-click and much more

ClixSense is quite similar to Get Paid.
Active since 2007, it consists in clicking on ads, watching video, answering surveys, signing up to other sites, completing simple tasks online (under "Task" - a Facebook profile is required), etc ....

The website is in English, however the forum is available in all languages; over there all features, instructions and tips-and-tricks are to be found.

How to earn money:

Paid To Click : daily advertising (ads) paid $ 0.02, $ 0.01, $ 0,005 and more frquently $ 0,001.
You need to click on the ads, enter the Captcha code (in this case you need to select the picture that represents a cat among five different pictures) and wait until the timer reaches zero (3 to 5 seconds for the $ 0.001 ads, 15 sec. for $ 0.005 ads, 30 sec. for $ 0.01 ads and 60 sec. for $ 0.02 ads).
You may also install a Toolbar which will advise you every time a new ad/survey/task is available even if you're surfing different websites, you only need to let the browser on.
NB : use Chrome, Internet Explorer doesn't work properly.

Clixgrid : you can click up to 30 squares on the grid per day, each square leads to an advertising link that you must view for 10 seconds. If you're lucky you can win $ 0.10 to $ 10 .... needless to say I never won !!!
NB: it's a like playing the lottery, except that it is costless. Worth a try and you will need it to complete the daily checklist (read below)...

Surveys : you must meet certain requirements in order to be considered an eligible subject. I tried several times, but I never qualified. In return I received an absurd amount of spam emails.

Offers : miscellaneous deals: surveys (again!), online games, paid to sign up, paid to install app or program, free trials, paid to watch videos, etc. (pay attention to highly rewarded offers: you may be required to spend money!!!).
NB: watching videos and clicking ads may be worn your time. Online games are rewarded only if you follow certain rules (check the forum to get instructions); trying to qualify for the surveys is just a waste of time.

Tasks : internet researches, data entry, data collecting. You need a Facebook account to work on this section.
NOTE: extremely underpaid. Work on tasks only if you need to complete the daily checklist (read below)!

Bonus :
Daily Checklist Bonus : + 5% (calculated on daily earnings) after following activities are carried out: click at least 6 ads, min. 20 clicks playing on the Clixgrid, complete 2 offers or 10 tasks and finally visit the forum. It will require ca. half an hour to complete the checklist....
ClixAddon bonus : + 1% by downloading the toolbar and letting it run for at least 1 hour.
Activity Bonus : + 1% by completing the daily checklist three days in a row.

Referrals: like most of PTC sites, you earn commissions by referring other people to the website. Commissions are granted on ads viewed, offers, tasks and surveys that are completed by your referrals.

Therefore please use the following link http://www.clixsense.com/?7652797  should you decide to sign up.

Payments :

Upon request  twice a week (Monday and Friday) via Paypal, Paytoo, Payza and Neteller (the minimum payable amount is $ 8), or monthly if you choose to be paid by bank check.

Paid to enter captchas

digitare captcha

Lately I'm testing Mega TYPERS , a site that pays you for transcribing the so-called captchas (an acronym for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart") used in computing to determine whether or not the user is human.

The website (available in several languages including: English, French, Spanish, Russian, Hindi , etc ....) is quite simple and intuitive. It has a very detailed guide with instructions that you are strongly recommended to read carefully!

This site is not completely compatible with Internet Explorer. It works better with Chrome.

The job consist in transcribing each displayed code (captcha) in max 15 seconds. You are required to type upper and lower case and any spaces between words.
If it takes too long you are "kicked" (forced to interrupt); codes typed up to that point are still accredited.
In case of multiple "kicks" you will be temporarily suspended and finally banned from the site.

You may skip those codes that are too difficult to read and transcribe, but if you use that function too often, you are "kicked".
From what I could see it is preferable to try and type the code rather than skip it ... I tried to do so in some cases, and even if the codes were surely wrong, I was allowed to go on .... Don't do it too often, though! You are strongly recommended not to type "rubbish" and you may be banned. Avoid to do it as long as you can.
Anyway, your work is checked and revised every now and then, and you are credited only for correct entries.

The paid amounts vary depending on day-time: from a min. $ 0.45 to a maximum of $ 1.20 per 1000 captchas solved.

Every 20 minutes "contests" take place: the player who digits the highest amount of correct captchas, he wins. Obviously the winner gets his captchas payed plus the prize; the losers don't get anything.

Payments are made weekly, every Monday, as long as you achieve at least $ 3.00. You can choose to be paid via PayPal, Perfect Money, AlertPay, Webmoney, BitCoin or Western Union.

How much can you earn?:
On the website you'll find that the top typers reach between $ 100 and $ 250 a month .... I personally made up to $ 0.25-0.30 per hour .... Not worth my time.... It may depend on the fact that the images did not always appear one after the other; sometime you have to wait few minutes before a new captcha becomes available.

I'll work on it during spare times, at least until I reach the $ 3....

If you decide to try it, use this code to register:  A4D4.   You will be asked upon registration.

About me

earn online
Many websites provide information on how to earn money online.
Some of them are useful other a little less.

So I thought that writing about my experiences, might help readers to find their own way.

All listed sites have been personally tested; you'll find my thoughts and opinions. It does not mean that others might have experienced the same sites in a different way.

This "guide" is not intended to be complete and exhaustive; sites and possibilities are too many to even remotely be able to test them all...
It will be a "work in progress" blog, with lists updated as long as sites are being tested.

I'm not going to give a try to all those sites that require registration fees or any kind of investment before you can earn.

The listed sites always offers free membership and no expense at all!

Another thing to better keep in mind: it is really difficult to reach a consistent amount of money working on these sites; consider them as an extra revenue generator.

PS: sometimes I will provide website links which include my "referral code" as some sites give to the referee incentives based on the number of people you enroll. So if you think that my guide is somewhat useful, click on the links to sign up. Thank you!
